95-97 Richly textured, with an opulent feel, concentrated, the fruit buried in the dense flavors. It makes for a big, powerful wine, looking to a long future.

Picked over a period of eight weeks, this wine shows the class and care resulting from such efforts. Citrus and white flower aromas lead to a wine that is not overtly rich, with subtle shades of botrytis and orange marmalade flavors. The acidity is vibrant, fresh, a great balance.

Powered by dry botrytis, this is a wine with immense potential. It has weight, complexity and richness, all under the cloak of botrytis. To leaven the power, there is acidity, but this is certainly for aging.

Like so many vintages of Suduiraut, this wine shows richness, even in the relatively delicate 2004. Ripe, sweet fruit flavors —dates, figs, pineapples and tangerines—dominate. This richness goes deep down, leaving a texture that is intense and concentrated.
