Sweet and spicy nose with aromas of cookie dough, green herbs, touch of anise; sweet and supple in the front of the mouth, but also dry and highly structured at the same time, spicy, big core of dry acidity at the end, but the wine remains balanced and elegant with a powerful shot of spices at the finish; these are always unique and compelling wines, and this one is at the top of its class. Sweet lemony nose with candied aromas of lemon rind and lemon drop candy, lightly spicy and quite perfumed and aromatic; smooth and silky in the mouth with the richness that characterizes these wines; but also showing the effects of age and there is some noticeable oxidation in the wine; still nicely citric in the mouth and with good balance and body; still some fat in the wine, but this is one that has to be drunk up soon. At first, light and tight aromas, sweet and sugared, touch of cabbage mixed with white flower aromatics, becoming more honeyed and rich as it airs out in the glass; smooth and ripe in the mouth, lots of minerals mixed with sweet lemons; nicely balanced; long spicy finish, very elegant and refined in the mouth. Sweet and spicy nose, lots of green herbs and leather on the nose, smoky and rich, ripe aromas; thick and viscous in the mouth with smoky, rich fruit; a bit thick and unrefined; could use more definition but not a bad wine for a questionable vintage; a bit short and clumsy at the end, but full-flavored. (15.5/20)

Sweet and rich nose, loaded with minerals, peppery, very intense and powerful, lemon peel and other citrus fruit aromas; sweet and thick, slightly oily on the palate; rich, ripe and round, lots of baby fat in this wine that is hiding some of the layered flavors that will emerge later; smooth and silky at the end with lemon peel and sweet spices; needs more time to develop complexity and depth. (16.5 now but more to come in the future)
