A new wine to me bought at Hedyiard in Paris from the Corbières region; a Vin Pays d’Oc, this seems to me to be a blend of Cabernet and Merlot; sweet nose, blackberry jam, blueberries, earth, a bit light but ripe and smooth; sweet and smooth in the mouth; lacks real body but has solid flavors of blackberries, black cherry juice, touches of earth; smooth, silky finish; needs grip.
