This Brunello takes a little while to open, but when it does it reveals vanilla wafers, herbs, roasted coffee bean, tannery smells, sweet bread, leather, earth and herbal notes. Engaging and complex with good structure and solid tannins.

Good intensity and balance characterize this fresh and fruit-forward Brunello di Montalcino. Aromas include espresso bean, vanilla extract, allspice and ground clove. The wine is firm and penetrating and boasts a long-lasting finish.

Here’s an intense and immediate Brunello Riserva that needs a few more years of cellar aging to soften its young tannins. There’s nice balance here between fruit notes and spice and the wine is generous, rich and silky on the close. Vanilla and vibrant cherry cap off the experience.

This is a gorgeous wine with loads of intensity and fruit. You can expect the wine to age many years in the cellar thanks to the integrity of the cherry, blackberry and plum flavors. In the mouth, the wine is soft, round and smooth although the tannins could use a few more years to soften.
