Loads of tobacco and cedar, black cherry, and wood aromas, strong aromas, floral, deep black cherry aromas, spices, black pepper, but also with an annoying slightly green, medicinal nose; good ripe fruit flavors in the front of the mouth, but this does not last unfortunately as the wine turns out to be thin and sour without complexity or depth; lacks character; sour and hot at the finish with a bitter, inky undertone; disappointing.
