Lemony and ripe on the nose, with lemon peel aromas mixed with a touch of smoke and bitter herbs; wonderful ripe lemon flavors in the mouth, with fresh fruit flavors; citric and fresh; long finish that really lingers in the mouth with hints of grapefruit and lemon peel. (18/20)

Soft and sweet nose with layers of ripe fruit, candied lemons, lemon peel, touch of butterscotch, elegant and forward nose with a solid shot of minerals; first taste is sweet and rich with sweet lemon flavors; then the wine shows more structure and powerful citric acidity; there is a certain hardness in the wine as a consequence, but there is also a laser-sharp focus and an elegance in a drier and more austere body; lovely finish with some floral nuances at the finish. Very rich nose, loaded with aromas of butterscotch, sweet lemons, lots of spices, ripe fruit and sugar aromas, floral; ripe and rich in the mouth, this wine is quite different from the other vintages noted; very ripe and rich with a concentrated sweetness of fruit; fat and opulent; but lacks the elegance and finesse that this wine can show; likeable but not extraordinary. An interesting and complex nose that had a very wide range of evolving aromas, the first nose having the classic aromas of sour cabbage and minerals, smoke and peat aromas abound, then evolving into a sweeter nose with aromas of eucalyptus and mint, and finishing with interesting a unique aroma of gingerbread cookie dough; big flavors here, lots of lemon peel and minerals flavors; alternately sweet and sour in the mouth; smooth and rich textures; long finish with grapefruit and lemon peel flavors. Big complex nose with layers of aromatic spices and perfumed scents, mixing butterscotch with sweet oriental spices, earthen; sweet and rich in the mouth, the wine has a density and intensity that demands attention; this is no wimpy white wine; deep flavors, fresh and very well balanced, this is a classic. Wonderful nose, spicy, perfumed and floral, white flowers, dry aromas but elegant and full at the same time; wonderfully textured in the mouth, this wine is now smooth and silky with fresh flavors of lemons, laced with the soft bitterness of lemon peel; still has fresh acidity that gives the finish a fresh lemony flavor; not complex in the mouth but certainly pleasing.
