Using the ripeness of 2003 and adding to it by high extraction, the wine has moved from Bordeaux to New World. The fruit, which certainly has some attractive blackberry jelly flavors, has been overoaked, giving power and intensity.

A well-balanced, structured wine, produced from five acres owned by actor Gérard Depardieu. The tannins are solid, the fruit is black-hued, flavored with figs and plums, but leavened with delicious ripeness, acidity and balance.
