The wine opens with thick, purple concentration and segues to earthy aromas of asphalt, tar and mineral backed by dark fruit, prune and berry. It’s a strange wine with too much emphasis on those heavy resin and tar notes but it would pair well with Mexican chocolate mole sauce.
