A very smoky, meaty, heavily oaked style of Ribera Del Duero, and one that never reaches a level where the fruit can escape the oak boundaries. Yes, the palate has berry flavors and snap, but there’s also a ton of pepper, vanilla and burnt spices that keep it under wraps. And the bet here is that time will not make it better.
