Very sweet and perfumed nose, floral with hints of violets and lavender, leather, layers of liquid fruit, concentrated; wonderful in the mouth with deep and profound flavors; liquid lemon peel, black fruits, earth; this wine has very clear focus; laser-sharp; long finish, perfectly balanced; this was a great bottle. Opens with a sweet nose of ripe black cherries, mixed with clay and smoke, good shot of herbs with rosemary and tarragon, pepper, slightly meaty; the wine has a beautiful mix of sweet fruit and dry tannins that creates a balance of flavors and good body; black plums and cherries, spiced apples; long, spicy finish with an elegant texture and lots of poise; still very fresh and appealing. Sweet nose, lots of cedar and tobacco leaves, hints of caramel and caraway seeds, black spices, touch of smoked meat, ripe fruit; sweet fruit in the front of the mouth, lots of cherry and raspberry flavors, wooden and earthen textures mix with light citric acidity; good balance, good drying tannins at the back of the mouth; better than the reputation of this wine; nice finish, a bit short and simple at the end but with nice licorice flavors at the finish.
