Light, crisp and refreshing and a great value. Not your "typical" New Zealand SB which can get a little cloying after a while.

Second 80 Sips Challenge wine at Fog City Diner. Nicely balanced with the grassy acidity you expect in a NZ sauv blanc. I liked this with the mac and cheese on the menu.

A bit of a letdown coming from this producer, the Kidnapper’s Vineyard Chardonnay seems to lack some richness and flesh in the midpalate. It’s otherwise appealing for its pear, melon and graphite notes and crisp finish.
