Sulfuric, stemmy and rubbery, with a flat mouthfeel and low acidity. Tastes soft, jammy and baked, with a chunky finish that flat-lines. Too little quality or character here.

Down the middle and safe, with basic red-fruit aromas accented by leather and earth notes. A little rubbery in the mouth, with average raspberry and red plum flavors. Similar on the finish. Generic but good.

Heavy, minty and smelling of shoe polish, barrel char and black licorice. The palate is chunky but overall it has pretty good structure. Meanwhile, the flavors of raspberry and plum carry a heavy oak influence. Spice and resin, additional reflections of the oak, dominate the finish.

Jammy and sweet on the nose, like a jar of strawberry preserves. The palate, however, is light and tart, with burnt berry flavors. Finishes peppery and short, with little to latch onto.
