Huge in color and extract, but also a little childish. The nose has gumball, berry jam and a touch of volatility, but after things settle it rests on bold black fruit. It’s not overly rich or sweet, and the feel is sort of sinewy. Seems more about size and color than refinement and polish.

Spirited and young upon opening, with jammy red-fruit aromas. It keeps a slightly candied character across the palate and onto the finish, with mocha, pepper and raisin flavors. In the end it is plenty ripe, with medium tannins and a solid structure. Not complex, world-class Cabernet but it more than does the trick.

A nice, colorful, jammy wine with tons of raspberry and blackberry essence. It’s very fruity and jumpy, with a rubbery, bouncy mouthfeel that supports honest but mild tannins. Not terribly exciting, but it delivers exactly what it should: color, fruit and spunk.
