Tasters praised the solid, dark cherry fruit core of this well-poised, medium-weight offering. They diverged beyond that, some enjoying the wine’s cedar, meat and earth elements, others finding, along with tasty coffee and licorice notes, a slightly edgy astringency. Drinkable now, it’s still evolving. Best from 2004–2010+.
