This is the type of wine they love in Emilia-Romagna. A rich berry nose begins things. In the mouth, there's wonderful texture, balance, and a persistent berry finish. Not a complex wine, but a good one--and what a great wine with a pasta dish such as tortellini alla Bolognese. Very drinkable now.
