Creamy and intense, and packed with cherry-berry flavors that end in a soft wall of tannins. To judge by its cleanliness and texture, it’s a modern wine. But it folds in enough spicy complexity on the finish to maintain interest sip after sip.

A 50-50 blend of Grenache and Syrah, this offering boasts a lovely bouquet of chocolate and plum, but turns a bit firm and drying on the palate. Lacks lushness, but its structure might make it work well with rare beef or lamb.
