Lemon candy aromas define the nose, a strange mixture of lightly perfumed aromatics and hints of damp plaster; clean and crisp on the palate with lots of lemony citrus-laden acidity; lots of flavors of lemon peel and green fruit; fresh and crisp at the finish with an abundance of acidity, which stays within bounds. Soft, spicy nose, loaded with green herbs, buttery, soft and seductive; sweet and rich in the mouth, with a touch of bitter lemon peel, wood, and slight presence of herbs; long, smooth and silky, now aged with grace; lemony and with a touch of bitter almonds at the end; a class wine. (19/20)

Perfumed nose with great aromatics, lemon drops and lemon peel aromas, aromatic herbs, quite elegant; surprisingly tight on the palate, the wine is reluctant to give up any depth now; there is citrus fruit, mostly lemon juice and other citric flavors; totally closed though so it is hard to determine what character this wine will eventually show; there is an inner core of defined flavors that seems ready to break out; this would be fun to try in another year.
