This spicy blend of Shiraz and Grenache doesn’t have the opulence of De Lisio’s Quarterback blend, but boasts more complexity. Cinnamon, pepper, coffee and anise notes embellish the wine’s crisp, red-fruit flavors without overwhelming them, leaving behind a lingering sense of balance. Drink now–2015.
