A little heavy and dense in oak and lees, which tamp down the fruit and give the wine a certain flatness. Nonetheless you’ll find grace notes of pineapples, apricots and minerals.

Shows bright, crisp Central Coast acidity brightening pure flavors of limes, kiwis, pineapples and tropical papaya fruits, in a creamy texture. Textbook cool-climate Chardonnay.

Nicely dry and silky, with good, crisp acidity. But the berry and cola flavors are very thin, and the finish is watery.

This is a soft, heavy Viognier. Despite some rich flavors of citrus and tropical fruits, it has a vegetal edge, and finishes jammy sweet.

This is a good, everyday blush wine. It straddles the line between dry and sweet, with raspberry, strawberry, vanilla and cinnamon flavors, brightened with zesty acidity.

The black pepper and cocoa flavors that always mark this fine vineyard show up again in this dry, tannic wine. So do the blackberries and cassis that make it so sweetly fruity. The acidity is awkward, though, and tastes like it was added to balance out a high alcohol wine.

Dark in color and heavy in the mouth, this blush blend of Syrah and Grenache is sweet in cherries, vanilla cookie and vanilla.

Pleasant citrusy nose. Decent acidity, hints of pear on the palate with just enough oak to notice but not dominate. Nice balance overall.
