Phenomenal rich nose with complex aromatics, ripe fruit, black cherry aromas, mixed with subtle shadings of lilacs and lavender, smoke and leather with touch of spice and earth; full-bodied flavors greet the palate with deeply concentrated black cherry flavors, but also elegance and refinement here with beautifully balanced acidity, soft tannins; silky but also with all the power and structure of a Rhône; long smooth polished finish with loads of fruit and emerging tannins at the end; this wine has been on the verge of hitting its peak for several years, and has finally done so.
