This is a pretty, rose-colored wine, with an earthy scent of barnyard and light cherry fruit. The flavors emphasize the tartness of cherries with a fair bit of earthiness in the finish. This is good, plain, quaffable rosé, but tart and one-dimensional.

Devaux makes a yeasty, bubbly, straight-ahead style of Champagne. It’s tart and tastes mostly of green apples, with just a faint hint of toast in the finish. There’s nothing particularly distinctive here, but it is well-made, refreshing and crisp through a clean finish.
