Tiny quantities of this wine were produced in ’03 and again in ’04. It is an impressive wine, with intense sweet apricot and honey flavors, still giving fine, fresh acidity to balance the dense texture.

The Loiben cooperative also produces wines from the neighboring Kremstal, notably the Pfaffenberg vineyard. This is a heavily mineral wine, dry, crisp with apple fruit flavors and delicious finishing acidity.
