The 1975 was the final wine of the vertical tasting, and I can easily say this is the best Champagne I've ever tasted. This one went to another level of complexity with a truffle note entering the taste profile. Incredible balance and soft texture. I could get used to drinking this.

Things started getting very interesting with the third DP of the vertical. This wine was beautifully balanced. Soft with a mild dose of acidity, yet still a vibrant effervescence. Truly special wine.

Second in the DP vertical. Rich with big acidity and light toasty notes on the finish.

An amazing year..Believe it or not this was my first bottle of champagne. Very subtle opening act followed by classic bubbly flavors. I would love to try this now that my palate has matured...nonetheless, I remember it as being an epic drink.
