Wonderful nose, sweet, aromatic and loaded with candied scents of raspberry marmalade and hard candy, exotic and seductive, if light; sweet and light in the mouth, very feminine, but also a bit light and diffuse; the wine turns quite tannic and earthen as it moves through the mouth, and develops an unfortunate hard edge by the time it finishes; it has a long finish with appealing cranberry flavors and good texture, but there is an overabundance of hard tannins that make it somewhat bitter at the finish.
