This was definitely a surprise, wonderful sweet perfumed and floral nose with nice touches of earth, licorice, kirsch and chocolate-covered cherries; sweet and soft in the mouth, loaded with ripe fruit, black cherry, blackberry flavors; currants; nicely balanced and integrated tannins; long full finish; began to fade after a time in the glass, but an excellent wine.
