Knockout Sauvignon Blanc aromas of gooseberry and pink grapefruit are followed on the palate by similar flavors, all graced with great intensity and precision. Cheverny is in Touraine, in the Loire Valley, and this wine represents a fine alternative to pricier Sancerres or New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs. Not so pungent that it can’t be consumed on its own, yet assertive enough to pair with any Sauvignon-friendly dish.
