Tight and mineral in character, with grapefruit and touches of new wood to go with the fresh, dominant, taut acidity. The crispness stays right through, giving a bright, citrus aftertaste.

Just starting out, this wine, fresh from bottling, shows its weight, structure and distinct minerality. The fruit is coming along behind, ripe yellow peach and pink grapefruit over wood. It is very ageworthy—give it at least 3–4 years, certainly longer.

An opulent, weighty wine, packed with lemon fruits, wood caramel sweetness and a delicious tasty character. It is lip-smacking in its ripeness and freshness, the final flavor bringing together acidity and a creamy texture.

Rounded wine, with a generous helping of acidity, it balances richness with a defiantly mineral character. There is total freshness and crispness as well as final softness.

The wine is currently closed up, not offering huge flavors. So it is a question of feeling the richness, the steely edge and the yellow fruits. It is certainly very dense, needing several years’ aging, finishing with vanilla creaminess.

From a vineyard just to the north of the line of Meursault premier crus, this is a fresh, crisp wine, very citrusy, with a strong element of spice and grapefruit. The fruitiness is tamed by some wood aging.
