Rather earthy, with dark flavors of tapenade that never really shine. It’s a more somber look at Saint-Joseph that needs herb-roasted meat to make it shine.

A medium-bodied, slightly innocuous white wine. There’s some slightly gluey Marsanne notes, but also freshness. The blend is 60% Marsanne, 40% Roussanne.
