A sparkler made from this grape is going to be funky by nature, so don't be shocked by the unconventional aromas of smoked meat, mustard seed and basil. The flavor profile is exceedingly sweet, but the acidity is correct so the balance seems solid. This is a strange wine, a mixed bag of flavor and funk.
