Nicely formed nose with typical forward Dujac aromas, sweet, honeyed fruit mixed with spices and white pepper, licorice, almonds, Key limes and a touch of earth; sweet and smooth with silky textures in the mouth, almost thick; minerals and with more time lots of fresh lemony acidity; nice finish quite spicy, a bit light. Very aromatic nose with honeyed fruit, spices, peat, smoke, vanilla bean, caraway seed and white pepper aromas; soft and supple in the mouth at first taste, but then there emerges a real powerful core of acidity that threatens to overwhelm the wine, but stops just in time; lemony and lemon peel flavors; very smooth in the mouth, but with a hard edge that is inescapable from the grip of the acidity; this may smooth out a bit more with additional time; good now, though. Aromatic nose, lots of licorice, smoky with herbs, sweet spices and a slight touch of candied fruit aromas; rich touches on the palate with candied lemons on first taste and a real mouth-coating character; then a real shot of acidity wakes up the palate; lots of lemon flavors in this wine, but at the same time it is smooth and rich; nicely polished.
