It has been a while since I used Bottlenotes (their link with Facebook failed for quite a while). The color of this wine is a deep purple and is very dense (it will blot out the light if I hold it up to one...or a bunch if I hold it up to the Christmas tree). The nose is full of an intense blueberry aroma with a tiny hint of mulled spice (which is a nice coincidence for this time of year). The drink itself is very well balanced between the fruit and acidity - it is quite nice and the finish lasts a decent amount of time. I give this wine a big thumbs-up on the yummy scale!
