Refreshingly close to dry, this wine also layers earth and mineral notes atop crisp green apples and grapefuits. It’s light, juicy and long, with a finish that leaves you thirsting for more. A fine apéritif. Best Buy. —J.C.

The tart, lemony flavors pack a petrol edge, but not a lot of weight or intensity. Pineapple and a hint of kerosene round out the package.
