After some reduced sulfur scents blew off, creamy, buttery notes emerged, giving way to apple and vanilla in the mouth. The short finish turns slightly tart at the end. No improvement with age.

Dry, crisp and slightly viscous, this white shows excessive vanilla from oak treatment that smothers the fruit expression. Medium, buttery finish.

Not a fruity wine, this Kentucky red shows vegetal humus and earth aromas that turn a bit stewed in the mouth. Nonetheless, there’s good concentration here and an attractive, vanilla-flavored finish. Drink up.

Black fruit, pepper and spice lead this likeable sip from Kentucky. Red berry, cranberry and plum fruit mixed with pepper and vanilla gives it dimension, and the finish is both tart and spicy. A nice everyday red perfect for winter cuisine.
