This unusual project, a single Bordeaux blend from a mix of vintages, has put out its second wine. It is, as you would expect, rounder and more advanced than the usual new releases, with melded flavors and softened tannins. Yet it retains a fair amount of youthful spice and a sharp edge to the acids, lifting it and giving definition to the mid-palate.
