Almost mute peach and melon aromas get it going, followed by racy, narrow grapefruit and tangerine flavors. It’s a citric, lean and limited SB, with zest and not much else to the palate or finish. Quaffable if properly chilled.

Approach this unusual Chilean white with no preconceptions and you will like it. The nose is tropical and floral, with aromas of green melon, air freshener, citrus blossom and more. The palate feel is in harmony, while the flavors of melon, kiwi and apple work well together. Finishes dry, with green-fruit flavors and washing acidity.

Definitely on the ripe side, but a very pleasing wine. This is a low-acid wine that obviously caught a lot of sun in the vineyard, thus it goes soft on the tannins and light on the bite. But if chocolate, plum and berry syrup sound like your thing, and hard tannins turn you off, then it will be up your alley. Imported by Racke USA, Inc.

Slightly foxy and leafy on the nose, with a dry peppery character that doesn’t promise much in the way of heft or sweetness. The palate offers adequate spice and light red-fruit touches, and the finish even shows a bit of citrus. Good but modest in what it has to offer. Imported by Racke USA, Inc.

A little perfumed and candied on the nose, but the palate and core of the wine are more than solid and satisfying. This new line of wines has shown some good signs. But like this Chard, the wines often come up just short of being individual. Here, the aromas are generic pear and peach, while the palate is round and shows mango, pear and decent acidity. A good wine for everyday occasions. Imported by Racke USA.
