This bold, expressive Pinot Noir bursts open with spice, herb and leaf then rolls into flavors of vanilla cream and tangy red fruits. The spicy elements wrap into all the other flavors, giving lift and life; this is an exciting wine, though not necessarily one to cellar.

From young vines, this wine has a bit more concentration than the regular ‘44’ bottling; with black cherry and plenty of new oak. But what shines is the spicy assertiveness of the Eola-Amity Hills region.

Rich cherry flavors, vanilla and a little acidity all come together in perfect harmony. Wonderfully balanced--savored every sip.

This new world style pinot relatively on the heavy side of medium bodied with raspberry, cherry flavors and some acidity that I pick up on the finish.

A tasty, quintessentially Oregonian Pinot. Chewy mouthfeel, with overt flavors of stewed cherries. Slightly smoky note and steamed vanilla came through on the finish as the wine sat. Yum!
