Baked but not cooked, with leather and blackberry aromas making for an inviting Monastrell. The wine is decidedly plump and smooth, with cola, burnt toast and baked berry flavors. Some oak and savory elements grace the fleshy finish. If you like good but affordable Argentine Malbec, this is in the same vein.

A little more sharp and lean smelling than you’d expect from warm-climate Jumilla, with firm raspberry and plum flavors. A forward-style wine that’s simple, zesty and does not fall apart on the finish. Good for everyday consumption.
