Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Structured and elegant, with cherry and plum fruit at its core and oak underneath for support and texture. The fruit is sturdy and stiff on the palate, but softens up a bit on the back end. Nose offers strawberry and red fruit aromas.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Fruit is more brown than vibrant and juicy, and is couched in dusty earth. Tannins are woodsy, maybe even tinged with a little amaretto. A flash of coffee or chocolate pops up before the finish.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Medium-bodied with some richness in the mouth; meaty, stably notes on the nose return on the palate, where there is also a rich molasses flavor enveloping deep black fruit. A very nice wine; the molasses richness suggests judicious pairing, though.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Shows sweet, citrus flavors on the palate (think lemondrops) and a simple, sort of flat feel in the mouth. Finishes short.
