Estate-grown, vibrant, and spicy, this southern Oregon Viognier opens with a penetrating bouquet of flower, spice and citrus. The wine really comes alive in the mouth, with palate-pleasing flavors of lime, quinine and melon. You’d almost swear there was a nip of gin in the mix. Delicious chilled.

A spicy note in the nose carries suggestions of caraway, pepper and rye. This is a light, tart, palate-refreshing red wine, with wild red berry flavors, a hint of earth and a delicate balance.

Folin’s Misceo is a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, all estate-grown. The forward fruit flavors run through berries, cherries and red plums; the wine is nicely balanced with acid and tannin in proportion. Think southern Rhône, young vines and you are in the right ballpark.

This is a light, pleasant, balanced Syrah that shows a mix of earth, herb, saline, soy, cherry and chocolate flavors, but all subdued. Take a high-end Washington Syrah and lighten it up—those are the flavors here. If you value elegance and complexity, this will be just right for you.

Young vines, the first release from estate-grown fruit. The vanilla flavors of the barrels are front and center at the moment, though there are darker fruits in the background, along with smoke, licorice and a hint of tar. Good long-term potential.
