This is a brisk, dry and zesty Gewürztraminer that shows how well the variety performs in Mendocino’s Anderson Valley. It shows the super-spiciness of Gewürz, with tropical fruit and honeysuckle flavors balanced with crisp acidity.

Shows great acidity that really gets the tastebuds whistling, and also deep, complex varietal flavors of Meyer lemons, limes and sweet vanilla, with a green grass component in the background. Very fine and dry, an elegant, sophisticated Sauvignon Blanc of great integrity.

Delicious now for its rich array of black cherry jam, raspberry tart, mocha, cola, anise and vanilla-cedar flavors, wrapped into an easy, silky mouthfeel. Feels elegant and good, and probably best now through 2011.

Young and fresh now, with candied flavors of cherries, red currants, cola, cocoa, mint and sweet sandalwood, wrapped into a silky texture. The acidity, tannins, fruit and oak need a few years to mesh together, but this should be a pretty wine by 2011.
