There are strongly toasted influences here of roasted hazelnut and burnt bread crust that will surely soften and integrate with more years of bottle aging. The good news is that there is enough fruit and cherry at the core to carry the wine forward over the years.

Beautiful earth, dark cherry, and nutty notes. Lovely Barolo. Has MANY more years in it!
