Rich, musky fruit in the nose gives off a petrol aroma. Very ripe, so the edges are soft, with flavors of banana set against lemon, pineapple and orange marmalade. Bracing acidity keeps it from being flabby, but it’s still heavy -possibly even overripe. The finish is very long, but it’s also kind of fat.

A great value in Grüner Veltliner, this medium-bodied offering features a saliva-inducing blend of spices, garden herbs and ripe fruit, shot through with a dose of dry minerality. True to the grape, and true to the terroir--all for less than $10.

The intensely mineral, steely character of this wine is classic Wachau Grüner Veltliner. Hints of pepper, herbs and spice act as a foil to the acidic and almost granite-like character of the wine. This should age well over 5 years.

Herbs and spices dominate this wine, with citrus on the nose and elegant fruit and a mineral character on the palate. Attractive and fresh.

Smells inviting, with notes of lime, fresh greens and hints of peach that call to mind warm spring days. On the palate, it loses some of that grace, delivering chunky pear and citrus flavors in a medium-bodied package. Still good, especially for the price. Imported by Vin Divino.
