This is the richest Frostwatch Chardonnay ever. It just explodes in the mouth, with waves of ripe pineapple, peach, pear, lemon custard and spice flavors. The oak influence offers richer elements of crème brûlée. Drink now for sheer opulence.

A nice Chardonnay, with enough elegance to drink with fine food. Dry and crisp, it shows mineral-infused peach, lemon and pineapple flavors that are wrapped into quite a bit of smoky oak. Drink now.

This is a very dry, tart Chardonnay, almost like a Fumé Blanc except that it’s richer and creamier. The flavors are of lemons and limes, and papayas that aren’t quite ripe. It’s a complex wine that will pick up interest as it warms up and plays against food.

Very dry and fairly tannic, with cassis flavors, this Cab is quite enjoyable now and should hold for a couple of years. It has an elegance and structural balance that bring to mind the pre-cult era of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Pretty good price for a nice, fancy Merlot. It’s made in a restrained style, with a firm, dry structure framing cherry, currant, tobacco, herb and cedar flavors.

Crushed peppercorn aromas mark this dry, full-bodied Zin, along with all sorts of other racy spices. The alcohol is moderate, and the flavors kick in midpalate, suggesting berries, currants, tobacco, leather and coffee. A very nice example of a balanced, Sonoma Zinfandel with classic elegance.

This is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. It’s very clean and appealing, a wine to have on its own, or with fruity-spicy fare. Floods the mouth with crisp pineapple, lime and green apple flavors that have a honey-rich finish, but it’s really dry.

This is a rich, full-bodied and fruity red wine. It’s dry, but so filled with fresh berry and cherry flavors, it tastes sweet. Firm tannins provide needed balance. Drink now with a nice grilled steak.

A little sweet in pineapple and orange jam flavor, but nicely acidic, which gives the wine a clean, tart mouthfeel that balances the fruit. Enjoyable as a cocktail sipper, or with fresh cracked crab.
