All in all this isn’t a bad little wine for the price. It is a touch musky and heavy on the nose, but the palate holds form as it delivers round banana and melon flavors along with some vanilla and sponge cake on the finish.

Raw and lacking in concentration, this wine delivers pedestrian fruit with a lactic, buttery consistency. Finishes sweet but sort of gritty, and slightly medicinal.

Light, tropical but ultimately dilute, with chalky, drying, tart flavors that run toward lemon and underripe pineapple. Lemony on the finish and monotone.

A strange, light-bodied wine with aromas of animal cracker cookies, tangy raspberry and herbal weediness. The palate is weak in structure, with light-framed, herbal red-fruit flavors and a dash of pepper.

Not bad on the nose, where you get some tropicality, buttercup and flower blossom. But once you get onto the palate things go south. The acidity is high, creating tangy, lemony flavors, and all totaled there’s not much here besides generic citrus and water.

Generally gimmicky names draw no applause from these parts, but here we like this wine’s raspberry, graham cracker and orange-peel nose along with its crystallized raspberry and strawberry flavors. It’s slightly gritty and sugary, but overall it’s still fresh enough to handle the sweetness.

A little oily and heavy, but the buttercup and candle wax aromas seem more real than artificial. The palate is plump, a bit sugary, but the apple and orange notes are clear. Finishes juicy enough and not overly cloying.

Jammy red fruit aromas have a slight chemical, candied edge, while the palate is edgy and sort of hollow in the middle, with lazy, simple, generic raspberry and cherry flavors. Light on the finish, almost to the point of dilute.

Fairly lively and forward, with sturdy plum and berry characteristics. This is a surprisngly solid Malbec rose; you get a secure and crisp finish, not to much wayward sugar, and pretty good quality overall. Served chilled you might just enjoy a glass, or even a bottle.
