From what was once called Castello del Terriccio comes this Tuscan blend of Cabernet and a little Merlot. It has fine-grained cinnamon oak on the nose, but not too much stuffing backing it up. Still, it’s a very good red that offers black cherry, plum and coffee notes. That said, it runs a bit heavy with tobacco and leather, especially on the nose.
