Couldn’t be more different from the Ramonet, with a smoky, minerally nose very reminiscent of a Puligny, there is sweet fruit and lemon zest, but it is much more subdued and veiled; very spicy and smoky on the palate with wonderful sweet oriental spices, a touch of cookie dough; more caramel notes and smoky oak flavors; long finish, spicy and rich, balanced, exotic.
