This is prototypical Gisborne Chardonnay, featuring a whack of spicy oak and buttered popcorn allied to tropical-fruit and peach flavors, brought into focus by mild citrus (tangerine) on the finish. A very fruity and somewhat simple style, yet executed perfectly.
