Pleasant red fruit and oak from start to finish characterizes this light-to-medium-bodied wine. It’s easy to drink, if not overly complicated. Finish offers some anise and herb. —D.M.

Vanilla and menthol aromas testify to the years spent in oak. Dark cherry fruit is a little thin in texture, and leathery, finishing with some dry oakiness.
