Deep and powerful nose, loaded with richness and layers of focused aromas, chocolate and black fruits, the nose on this wine is incredibly powerful and perfumed and takes over the senses; in the mouth, there is the same power and focus; powerful black fruits give way to drier red fruit flavors, that in turn evolve to cranberry and crabapple tastes; big but now softened tannins signal the structure of this vintage; long spicy finish; superb.
