This Paso Cab isn’t half bad for this price point. It’s definitely soft, but the flavors of blackberry jam, cherry marmalade, chocolate-sweetened cappuccino and vanilla spice are simply delicious, and make the wine oh, so easy to like.

This is a pretty good price for an everyday, introductory Pinot Noir. It shows proper qualities of dryness, silkiness and cherry cola flavors, enhanced with oaky notes.

Two Best Buys in a row now for Grayson’s Merlot, which constitutes a track record. The wine offers a wealth of ripe, forward blackberry, cherry and mocha flavors that are wrapped in soft, sweet tannins, and the finish is long and dry.

For an affordable, everyday red, this is a pretty good investment. It’s dry and full-bodied, with berry, earth, mocha and spice flavors.

Simple and straightforward, offering the slightly sweet pineapple, pear, buttered toast and caramel flavors that so many Chardonnay drinkers want, at a good price.

Here’s a good, sound, everyday Merlot that shows lots of real varietal character. It’s soft, dry and approachable, with gentle tannins framing flavors of black cherries, mocha and mint. Nice as a by-the-glass wine.

Awkwardly sweet and briary, with flavors of raspberry and cherry jam, sugared chamomile tea and milk chocolate. Will satisfy those red wine fans with a sweet tooth.
